The UniCont transportable mobile substations consist of an industrial type container where all the apparatus needed for the required service are accommodated. UniCont are manufactured in various sizes and for different applications according to the customer's requirements. They are completely independent units, which can be installed outdoors and are suitable for temporarily replacing complete transformer substations. No particular construction works are required for their installation.
The ground they are laid on must be sufficiently horizontal and have a carrying capacity of not less than 1 kg/cm2 (agricultural land). They are fitted with an independent lifting system consisting of four jacks with hydraulic cylinders, which allow the transport vehicle to be inserted under the container, without the aid of cranes.
